Becky Stein is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) with more than 30 years of experience working with nonprofit member- and volunteer-based associations. She has a master’s of public administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Becky has been with the ɫ��AV since 2004 and currently serves as the Chief Learning Officer. In this role, she oversees ɫ��AV’s education, certification, and accreditation programs ensuring ɫ��AV is the leader in developing a comprehensive education strategy and framework for the public works industry. Previously, she was the Director of Education and Credentialing for ɫ��AV for more than six years and a Certification Program Manager for 13 years.

Becky is a long-time member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and Kansas City Society of Association Executives (KCSAE). She has presented at the ASAE conference on “Developing a High-Performing, High Producing Volunteer Committee,” which was also featured in The Membership Management Report.

She is committed to providing resources for all individuals practicing in the public works industry from entry-level through advanced.
